#34 - why not just before bread and before bed?

1 Thessalonians 5:17

Pray constantly.

Praying without ceasing - turning my thoughts to Christ and communicating with Him throughout my days – is the heartbeat of relationship with Him. As I pray, I become increasingly aware of His presence permeating my life.

I want to see answers to my prayer. As I pray, I am aware that I may not see how it is being answered.  However, my heart and who I am are changing as I draw near to Christ.
As I pray, I engage in Jesus’ kingdom work – His work in the lives of other believers and in drawing others to Himself.
As I "pray constantly,” I grow in relationship with Christ, I grow to become more like Him, and I grow in becoming part of His work here on earth.
I must pray constantly because I'm constantly in need of reaching for and receiving from God. It is how I grow in awareness and receptivity to God's presence in each and every area of thought, action and circumstance. As I draw near to Him, He draws close to me.
Everyone always says that the key to each and every good relationship is communication. How's your communication with God? Is it the kind that characterizes a good relationship?

Lord, I want to know You. I want to think of You often and experience Your presence. I sense that You are growing my heart as I spend time with You. I want to lift specific people and circumstances up to You, taking part in Your work here on earth. Help Candeo to be a place where prayer is not forgotten as good work. Amen.
